2023 has been a significant year in the 23-year history of tusp.
In April, the business achieved a monumental milestone by becoming part of the BMD Group, Australia’s largest privately owned civil contractor. This strategic acquisition marked the culmination of 23 years of dedicated service and positioned us for even greater success on the global stage.
Our launch event held in July at The London Transport Museum, brought together key clients and team members. The event served as a platform to showcase our shared vision with the BMD Group and set the tone for the exciting journey ahead.
Our team has experienced substantial growth throughout the year. The recruitment drive has seen a great increase in our capability and geographical reach.
With a strategic focus on continued growth, we are aiming to double our workforce, ensuring that we continue to attract the best talent and continue to foster an enjoyable and dynamic work environment.
Our active participation in industry events has been a cornerstone of our success in 2023. Events such as Rail Infrastructure Networking Derby and the Australian British Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Catalyst provided invaluable networking opportunities. Notably, we have proudly joined esteemed organisations, becoming members of Rail Forum, Rail Business Daily Community and Rail Safe Friendly. These memberships highlight our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and fostering collaborations within the rail community.
Another highlight for 2023 was tusp Managing Director, Richard Smith’s visit to Australia to attend the Australian British Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Catalyst. This visit solidified the business’ collaborative spirit, laying the foundation for future synergies.
As part of our commitment to expansion, we will be opening a new office in Derby in 2024. This strategic move not only broadens our geographical reach but also positions us to better serve our clients and partners in the region.
