We are looking for an experienced Project Reporting Specialist. You must use your full expertise to develop and maintain reports for the project controls function. Supporting the Project Controls Manager and the P6 Planners in terms of robust planning, monitoring and reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency. You must possess hands on expertise to drive Reports from Primavera P6, extracting and manipulating data into usable formats. This is a roll your sleeves up role and only suitable for people that can do the doing.
·Within this role you will review / develop project reports, and monitor progress so that realistic, achievable and effective reports are developed for delivery of the project.
·The role will also involve identifying reporting requirements needed to support the project which will entail liaising with the contractor partners and resource planning functions to resolve resourcing issues.
·You will need to monitor data input by project teams and others to ensure cost and performance systems meet the required data standards.
·It will also be your responsibility to provide an efficient reporting structure to support the portfolio of complex projects within the programme.
·Establish effective control processes in compliance with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and as directed by the Principal Programme Controls Manager and maintain these at Project level.
·Provide an efficient day-to-day service to the Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment and project performance.
·Monitor performance so that data input by the planners, project teams and others to cost and performance systems meet required data standards.
·Manage the production of the periodic business reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
·Excellent Excel and VBA expertise as well as experience with the MS Office systems
·Excellent experience of investment or project control systems and processes
·Excellent eye for detail
