HS1 and HS2 Not to Link

The Government has announced that a rail link in-between current HS1 services and the new HS2 line will not go ahead
The plan will now be to improve pedestrian links from Euston and St Pancras stations.
Plans had included a single-track line to connect the stations, however the Government have advised that this will have a too much of a significant impact on residents in Camden.
This news came just before the announcement that HS2 and DfT have agreed assurances with Camden Council to give them more say on major works.
