Crossrail 2 To Get It’s Own Company

It has emerged that Transport for London (TfL) could be planning to set up an entirely new company to manage and deliver Crossrail 2.
The new railway, which will connect Surrey and Hertfordshire to South West London is set to have a subsidiary dedicated to developing the new North-South line called Crossrail 2 Ltd.
A formal announcement is due in the Spring of 2016, but Crossrail 2 has already been made eligible for £300 million of the Government’s Transport Development Fund, as disclosed in the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement.
